The holoflux theory of consciousness as modulated energy is hypothesized and shown to support both local and non-local properties. This thesis emerges from an integral evaluation of evidence drawn from: (1) the holonomic mind/brain theories of Karl Pribram, (2) the ontological interpretation of quantum theory by David Bohm.

Perfect. Thank you.
Greater detail may be found in my published books available on Amazon.com
The most comprehensive is my book "Sub-Quantum Consciousness" which includes my entire dissertation rewritten to be more accessible for those not deeply trained in calculus or physics. I'm trying to make abstract science comprehensible to the general public by extensive use of diagrams, charts, and images.
My most recent book is "Tantric Psychophysics: Exploring the Supersensible"
In the Fall of 2020 a new book, "The Electromagnetic Brain: EM Theories of Consciousness" will be published by Inner Traditions and also available on Amazon.com Thank you for watching this video!

I am interested in writing a book on Bohm and one thing I haven't been able to confirm though is whether what Pibram said in one of his books was in fact true or not. I don't remember (sorry) which book it was but (or) maybe it was in Supernature (where Lyall Watson described Pibram's brain experiments), where the claim emerged of an equivalence between Bohm's Holographic Theory of the Universe and Pibram's Holographic Theory of the Brain appeared homologous. A key finding, discussed by Watson, was that Pibram put brain matter in a blender and re-injected this matter into lab animals and found that the animals were as coherent as they were before. Now, THAT'S INCREDIBLE! BUT, I have not been able to find any evidence of these experiments ever being done and done successfully (not even sure how you'd measure that…). Any thoughts Shelli..?

I once had a friend who came up with a very similar theory. He was a hopeless amphetamine addict.
David Bohm had a lot of interactions with Jiddu Krishnamurti
I just came up with a new theory. It's called the Yada-Yada Yada-Yada Quantum Yada-Yada, Ph.D.
can you upload complete work. there seems to be jerky gaps that thwart understanding. kindly summarise it in simple language. thank you for this brilliant research. i got some hazy immpressions in the direction of my own understanding of the universe and conciousness.
Are NDE s real? Or Bullshit?
where am I,
"fragmentation is continually being brought about by the almost universal habit of taking the content of our thought for ‘a description of the world as it is" Read Wholeness and the Implicate order from David Bohm please!
You've strung together enough technobabble, most of it based on bad understandings of the real science you are selectively whoring to your warped idea, with so much of the important nuance left out that it would fool those who wouldn't know the difference. It would take entire college level lectures on neurology, and physics to explain why all of this is utter nonsense, which is hilarious, because it would only take half as much college and lecture to understand why all of this over reaching for explanation is completely unnecessary to begin with, as while our current real theories aren't complete, they explain all of this far better, without the need for the magic fairies. Nobody liked this because it was plausible… They liked it because they are too sucker to do the work to really understand the subjects you are gish galloping through, and because with all the technobabble, and woo, it just sounds cool. If you told someone who doesn't understand how a car works, that quantum forces, were balanced against a dirac sea chain reaction, to turn a crank shaft, in this video I am certain they would like it, and tell you how "clear and persuasive" it is… But the rest of us, that understand engine staging, and internal combustion… think you're a moron, and an asshole. You should stop. You're hurting uneducated people, by clogging their brains with misinformation, and distraction from truth, and you're hurting yourself, by destroying any credibility you could have with people who actually do understand this stuff.

Clear and persuasive presention. Thank you. When I read Michael Talbot's "The Holographic Universe" it provoked a big shift in "Recognition". I was never again a reductive materialist.
Complete and utter woo.
A guy named Shelli?
good journey not scientific though.
Thank you for your courage and clarity in discussing this! You have sparked my interest in learning more about the Bohm-Pribam ideas. I've had Bohm's book about the Implicate Order on my bookshelf for a while, unread. I must read it.
Do you ever doubt that maybe its all too far fetched and looking for patterns ?
Are some of your opinions influenced by indian philosophy? what exactly ?
I liked the psychedelic`s at the beginning , Cool , then ?
I find the many negative responses most interesting. I see this type of commentary on occasion, always in groups, always trying to make it personal. Gives the impression that there is a nest of "sceptics" scouring media for any dissenting voices. I tend to disregard what I find unbelievable, so why this fervor and tenacity? What's the threat? Why the anger? We need a shrink, post haste!
This sounds like the mad ramblings of Deepak Chopra, with no basis in fact or respectable scientific merritt.
I just feel compassion for this PhD… this Poor guy has less understanding than 2 years old kid… So sad
Consciousness, is part of evolution. The universe we live in, is exactly the same fractal universe, that we – as humans – have created digitally. A computer, is a reflection of our own brains, as we develop into the next stage of our human evolution… digital consciousness. Once we cross the biological-digital gap, well… we won't know what happens, until we get there.
Perhaps, space travel, as biological entities, will become irrelevant – our consciousness will be able to be transmitted, as any other signal. Beamed out, with no known destination, just anywhere the signal is beamed… not a bad way to think about "life after death." It eases the mind.
Damn Doc, this is some deep shit!
A man with 2 female names
Dude might have a buttload of degrees, and letters after his name, but can he say "Ric Flair Fan Club" three times real fast??
I hypothesize that he cannot, therefore I take none of what he says seriously.
I don't go all the way with this, but I think there are some interesting points.
Firstly, when I took LSD in 1970 I was absorbed into a fractal universe. I had no idea what a fractal was, I'm not sure the term was even around then. It wasn't altogether pleasant, I just wanted it to stop after a while. This was accompanied by a slowing down of subjective time, I could make my watch stop.
I was studying Philosophy and Physics at the time, so knew about David Bohm. I wasn't a fan of his hidden variables approach to QM (people are still trying to get that idea back in order to get consciousness out of the picture).
My present view is that consciousness is fundamental, not some accidental feature of the universe, which the naive realists would have us believe.
Interesting video.
