So how many of these reasons have you heard of before?? Probably all… right?! I know I have. I think about all these issues too and sometimes I get knots in my stomach just thinking about it. But moving back is something I’ve wanted for a really long time so I’m going to do my best to not let some of these things bother me. Thanks for watching, love Yvonne Reply a lot of good points Reply appreciate the advice! Reply Move to Africa as an business owner, create jobs. Reply You make some very good points, ESPECIALLY about employment. Too many African Americans believe that they can move to the African continent and make the same kind of money that they make in the U.S. Also, that they will be paid every week or two as they do in the U.S. I lived in and worked in west Africa (not Kenya) for 2 years and enjoyed my time there immensely. I always felt safe. But, as you suggest, I did my research before I left for Africa!! Maybe I will return there to live. In any event, I am familiar, at least with west Africa and know more or less what to expect. Thanks so much for your input!! Reply Corruption was born in the west. They just have their way of hiding. Reply I just found ur video and I love the fact that u give the pros and cons…I have been contemplating a move to Africa and have watched videos that mainly show the "up side", not the other side of the coin…Great advice. Reply One thing I've learned about Africans just by watching videos & reading comments is that they don't take criticism well even if it's the truth. How are you suppose to grow & improve?🙄🤦🏾♀️ Reply I'm African American I would like to when I retire live in Africa either permanently or semi permanently I would find it okay to live at a lower standard then I do here in America. Reply Africa isn't for fake people. It never has been Reply Thank you for providing a balanced perspective. Reply But im gonna move in Africa for 2 years Reply Thanks for the insight Reply 😂😂😂 They way you laughed at 0:15 You raised some good points, it’s important to acknowledge and look at the challenges you will probably encounter. I’ve seen most people have a hard time because they haven’t prepared themselves mentally and they go in with a complex like you said. Good luck on your move by the way 😀 Reply Leave a Reply Cancel replyYour email address will not be published.
