At a peaceful protest demanding the defunding of the Chicago Police Department (CPD) and the abolition of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Saturday, demonstrators were beaten, pepper sprayed, kettled, detained, searched and photographed before they were released from the downtown area….
