  1. I really like how both yawl keepin it real about the situation. Duke the things u think u miss is just trappings that u will eventually get over with. Many of us stuck here would luv 2 be in the place yawl at right now.C19 has been created to take away what little freedom we had left, the shitstem is imploding fast.Plz stop looking back at “home”,immerse yourselves in the culture and give thnx for being brought out of babylon…IsaYah 40:4

  2. I don't know your beautiful family personally, but I do know the area(s) that you came from (Michigan). I grew up in Grand Rapids, so we came from a similar environment. My family and I watch your channel often. We are so happy for you to have taken the ultimate leap of faith in living in The Motherland. You have inspired me to get my African Ancestry Matriclan test done, and to schedule a visit to my ancestral home in Senegal and Sierra Leon. Continued blesssings to you as you fulfill your dream of a life in The Gambia. I hope to someday meet you and perhaps "break bread" with you one day…

  4. Thanks for the real talk and the update. Is there any plans for solar power for your compound to keep the AC on? I know you’re renting but maybe you could take it with you. 🤷🏾‍♀️ keep pushing forward I know it will get better with time.

  5. You guys did good on you narrations of this video; tipping my hat to Duke for his honesty between the two continents! 👍🏾 pretty sure culture smoke is a biggie for the kids more so than the adults but all seem to be adjusting well….😊. Keep up the good work family! ✊🏾💪🏾❤️

  6. Really nice to hear that prospective from this young man about is concerns living in The Gambia; anywhere you go that's new to you takes some adjusting, especially that far and those conditions ❣from Chicago (Chi-town)
