Following the death of George Floyd, who was killed by a police office in Minneapolis, MN, protests in regards to police brutality and race relations broke out in all 50 states. As these protests continued throughout the summer, SCNR shadowed three Black journalists in three different U.S. cities and asked them what unique challenges they face in their coverage of civil unrest and race relations.

I can appreciate that you are just showing what these people think but its still frustrating to see this brain cancer being shown without so much as a question being asked.
Wow, SCNR has REALLY gone downhill.
the autopsy said he died of a drug overdose so wouldn't that mean he wasn't murdered?
Good to know the reasons and motivation behind the reporting that is provided by the people interviewed in this video. Thanks
You guys raised all that money and you can't buy a good mics/audio solution?
Communism is the virus ðŸ¦
Make the racial nightcrawler movie . " i got a proud boy almost killing an AntiFA guy blood everywhere well just edit out the part where AntiFA smash his wife's brains in."
They aren't photo journalists. Seems like they are photo activists from my perspective.
You're really bad at mixing audio
Why did Tim Pool allow this garbage to happen
I thought that identifying people primarily on the basis of "race" was the definition of racism. Hmmmm🤔
So sad that a media company with such promise has gone full leftist propaganda. My grandfather must be rolling in his grave at the bullshit he put the uniform on to defend against has become a modern media position. You people should be ashamed of yourselves.
Try being balanced journalists in a sea of biased partisans. You will be better recieved, have a larger audience, and reap the benefits bestowed to the honest journalists- TRUST.
You could not find a conservative black journalist anywhere in the US? Just look here on YouTube.
Too many people downvoting this video for emotional reasons.
While it's unfortunate the creator didn't interview a diverse set of voices, it's still a representation of what is happening on the ground.
Be sure to check the audio level of those you are interviewing. One of them had such a low level that it was very hard to understand what she was saying.
Dear good I wish journalist would have a "full story" (4:50) before they run with it. Mike Brown and Rayshard Brooks were NOT unarmed Black Men but those stories persists. Breonna Taylor was not asleep in her bed and Police did not come in to her home "guns blazing" when she was shot but those stories persists. Like everything else Racism has become a business in the Untied States and as disgusting as that is, thousands of people are making Six Figure Salaries inflaming Racial Tensions and convincing people they are victims of oppression in the Country with the most Individual Freedom, Individual Prosperity and Racial Diversity on Earth. It's not skin keeping people down. It's the attitude and mindset created when pursuing education gets you decried as a "Race Traitor" and believing some unknown person lives only to stop you from achieving in life.
What in the world happened to this channel. This is absolutely awful. This is hardly journalism. This is no different than biased opinion pieces by college students with no actual experience. This isn't truth at all and nor is it objective reporting.
This channel really fell apart,
Tim's experiment crashed and burned here.
Everyone who invested, take this as a lesson
Unsubing and never coming back.
lol lady wanted to come to her own conclusions and was an "outsider" that's why she followed the communist racist mob.
You should have done an introduction that you are just going to let activists speak their mind and that it is not supposed to an endorsement of their views. Without such an introduction, it sounds like you are endorsing this especially as you are not also including the views of Black activists on the other side
Tim pool is really involved in this channel? And what's this:
"Following the death of George Floyd, who was killed by a police office in Minneapolis, MN…"
He died of a fentanyl overdose.
Please do film it all so we can bare witness to your sins
How do you balance being a BLM activist and a journalist? You ignore the facts and promote lies.
How come most Hispanics even without the language thrive in this country? we don’t think we’re VICTIMS and take responsibility for our actions and our future, if we can achieve the American dream, so can they? On the other hand I believe a lot of black Americans are still on the plantation, mentally that is. They cannot let go of the past and are stuck because of it. They don’t look at the future with optimism, happiness and hope, instead they look to the past and are always angry and very unhappy.
George Floyd died from a heroin overdose.
