In Milwaukee in 2019, Black people were eight times more likely to be pulled over and seven times more likely to be frisked by police compared with white people, according to a newly released report.
And on top of that, Milwaukee Police Department officers provided sufficient, documented justification for less than a quarter of the frisks they conducted in 2019.
