I will come in he spirit of MARCUS MOSIAH GARVEY. Then shall you find me in the whirlwind.
Then shall you find me in storm. It will be a hot tempest.
The African King
All those thumbs down are from those who have developed a serious case of amnesia. That’s why they don’t remember him.
Garvey Jefferson 🖤✊🏿
Thanks Vanessa
This song. Is how I LEARNED about Marcus Garvey. Burning Spear and a lot of other Reggae artists taught us many things. Roots Reggae is the best music ever. Even this new generation is still carrying that torch. Bands like Chronixx. God bless them.

OMG, how could I forget this Marcus Garvey song on the anniversary of his birth on August 17, 1887. From Burning Spear's third album, Marcus Garvey (1975) The Mighty Diamonds and Culture jumped into my mind right away this morning, but the always humble Winston Rodney let them go first, knowing that I would never forget him. How could I? Burning Spear is one of the stars that shine brightest in the history of Western music. (And for being so self-effacing, Winston gets an added version side.)
