  1. Trade unions are easily coerced by concentrated power, even Australian unions in 1901 despite its internationalist characteristics where intergral in perpetuating the "White Australian policy" today the catch cry is jobs for "Australia first" and attacking immigration policy when in fact employees will underpay anybody regardless wether they're citizens or not I know it all to well because my family owns very large corporations and they do it all the time. I argue maybe we should sell some of our companies to the workers but it falls on deaf ears.

  2. I agree with e-n M. The situation in SA is dramatic and more time needed to be given to the lady. DN could have always posted the extended version up on their website. You do it for other interviews and so why not do it for this one.

  3. Avid (daily) DemocracyNow! follower and extremely disappointed with this coverage. Appreciate that you have time constraints, but then schedule the lady for at least 10-15 minutes and do a proper interview with her … cutting her off after 2 mins is not only rude, but does not do the gravity of the situation justice!

  4. The ANC blew all of the good will of South African people. It’s a shame…Mandela handed them a golden legacy and instead of helping their people they became like the previous apartheid leaders..robbing the poor of SA..
