Come on man why don't you say human lives matter? Even whites die in the hands of black people too. I believe racism is for poor people. Everything is unfair in this world. Everywhere is unfair. I thought Asians knew this better. By doing this what are you trying to prove. You can't change the racism in the hearts of people. Just by doing this you are doing more and more hatred. If you feel racism so badly then go to your home country or live with it. Be a man rather than whining like a child.
First aid just started watching this event I don't know what the effect is you're looking floor. The search I put in was Asian lives matter. The reason I put that in is because I've been watching all the videos of every Asian attack over the last year or so especially in New York the one thing that I found is that every single Asian person that has been attacked over the past year where there's being pushed off a platform in train station, mugged in the street, or just an Asian woman walking down the street and getting beaten almost to death one common denominator is every Asian person that has been attacked has been attacked by black people and black people only. They have not been attacked by other Asians they have not been attacked by white people and they had not been attacked by Hispanic people they have only been attacked by black people. So I have a tendency to put down alm for Asian lives matter
I came here expecting the worst and this video was such a pleasant surprise. Makes me feel hopeful that younger generations really are trying to make a difference.
Tbh there’s possibility for racism/prejudice everywhere. However, you should look at the cultural context as well. You are going into a small town where potentially everyone knows each other. You also are doing it with a camera and recording people and asking random people to hang out. Yeah, they might be a bit cautious. Just like you said the Asian lady didn’t’ experience any/ very little racism and that because she’s from their circle.
These people arent even racist, and getting called "china man" isnt racist either. Its a small town, they rarely see asians there no wonder why they stare but staring is a bit rude though
Okay but that old lady talking about her granddaughter was sweet though! Sure, it was probably an awkward encounter for them, but at least she had a favorable impression of them.
Here's an actual idea, go to an all black hood overnight, let's say Chicago? As for the comments saying you are brave? You got to be fucking kidding me.
My town in Ohio is incredibly racist towards middle easterns and asians, but they are only racist towards blacks when none are around. They will openly insult the first two in front of anyone.
Well as a black American the most racism I’ve ever experienced has been from other minorities. Mainly Hispanic/Latino, followed by Indians and very rarely East Asians. Which is odd in America since you all would be walking into back doors and sitting at the back of the bus if it weren’t for black people
As an adopted Korean American who lives in northeast Oklahoma in the “rural” countryside, it’s mostly just people not being updated about current findings. Asian hate isn’t as known around the area (I know I had to explain it to some homeless people) in fact they don’t know it exists! But it’s more lack of knowledge, not even from ignorance but because it’s not as part as daily life. Most are nice but people will turn racist if you have something personal against them. I have had ex friends who stood with me being ethnic but then started calling me things after they started acting up on their own bs. Some people just have balls and don’t know. Comes off one way, but you have to just explain it. Learn and grow.
Pretty cool to see an Asian person open up about feeling like they can't relate to other races. I always wondered why it seemed like Asian people only hanged out with their own kind.
Were you surprised? Honest thoughts and reactions? What videos would you be curious to see in Harrison?

Wonder if they have seen all the Asians in San Francisco being attacked by blacks. Plenty of racial video on that check it out.
I would honestly pay money to see Rob Bliss (the guy from the original video) reaction

What’s wrong with the term Chinaman? What is offensive about that?

That’s awesome!! Still wouldn’t ever wanna go there or live there. Kansas City is as “white” as I’m willing to get.

Bananas trying to undermine Black Lives Matter. What a disgrace!!!

This was heartwarming ❤
Imagine how they’d be treated if they were black. Most white people like Asians even if they’re white nationalists.
I'm not white but most of them are just telling the truth.
"All lives matter" stop pulling that color card.

I doubt African Americans would have been welcomed with open arms, they probably would have faced racism.
I think the videos were just road rage

I'm the comment you're looking for.
