personally i dont have the zeal like this people have, but it does create some balance to the world order of things. if there werent any tree fanatics one day we will wake up in a concrete jungle with no oxygen to breathe.
@norcallogger so I take it you're a logger who doesn't want something else to replace trees as our main source of paper? Makes sense to me. I guess your job is more important than our planet.
@norcallogger yes. I know of a plant that can be grown in the same spot year after year and creates paper rope and clothing. It grows without requiring pesticides and is good at aerating the soil. HEMP for victory. Ironically it was the PAPER companies that were first threatened by hemp and lobbied to make it illegal in the 1930s.
@norcallogger just because you say things does not mean they are true. An acre of hemp produces as much as four acres of trees annually, and that acre of Hemp can be replaced every season; how long does it take a tree to grow? Whether you like it or not does not matter, in the near future we will have to replace foresting to save the planet or we will all perish.
It's a shame we continue to rape our forests when we can simply use hemp.
When will we learn???
What is the connection with Mississippi?
