A group of Elon University students hopes to contribute to the ongoing effort to memorialize one of the area’s oldest African American communities. 

On Friday at 2:30 p.m., a team of Elon student researchers will present their findings during a public live stream, which can be found at https://bit.ly/2SS9bYF. 

The team worked alongside the Terra Cotta Foundation, a group that compiles information about this slowly disappearing neighborhood.
