In unison western media and the UN agencies of information disbursement portray the Ethiopian state as being sinister in every way that it tries to defend itself. Overt neo colonialism is afoot in Africa and particularly in the region of Ethiopia. The election was considered illegal by the federal government of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, who postponed the 2020 general election earlier in the year because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
