Fun fact- our police sent Undercovers in to smash buisnesses. This is not to dismiss the fact though that there were a bunch of dumbass kids causing pointless damage. But the fact they were there undercover inciting it and using it against the BLM movement here as a whole? Fuck you EPD, you will pay for the shit you've been doing.
One dude actually helped de-escalate it. A POC neighbor and a father started trying to make the mob think about their actions and it helped prevent the riot spread from the downtown ward. Won't see that on the news though because journalists are regularly getting shot by police.

Movement really needs a leader. I got fucking teargassed by EPD for this aimlessness. But I still agree with the rioting. Until class dictatorship is taken down by force, the fires must not stop. All of america must burn because it no longer belongs to the working class. If it ever did.
60 years I’ve lived in Eugene, I have relatives buried back to 1841 here. But Eugene is now a home for very stupid people. Time for me to down size again. Good luck and goodbye Eugene.
