People just need to be educated on both ends. The police need way more training. They need to introduce themselves to the people who live in the community and build a Bond so the respect is mutual. People need to definitely learn their rights. Every situation doesn’t need a knee jerk reaction. Learn how to communicate and comprehend better.
they FBI warned years ago of white supremacist infiltrating the police department
Dishonor the 'badge' ? wow.
The Blu Klux Klan are vital in the system of Racism and White Supremacy. They enforce the pseudo boundaries to keep blacks out and whites in. They are the enforcers of the Bill of Goods of the U.S. Morning Constitution
White people don't understand or respect the fact that black people move differently to them. And run the world based upon white policies …….
They were giving so many excuses to these damn police fuck all that bullshit and the police needs to understand that when you come to a community of color there will be animosity because the history of them terrorizing us. They must gain our trust from their actions that show us that they care and them having patience with us. They must be able to understand our frustration against and I don’t want to hear about some damn good cop story because when we get robbed, beaten or anything we will call the cops. This shows you we don’t hate cops so please spare with this nonsense. Blacks cops be showing off for the white cops and it doesn’t matter where you are from, but police should be talking to community leaders about the problems and being able to hear the frustrations from us.
Um racism is predominantly fear based and a poor excuse. The likeliness of a police officer being harmed by a black person is 1 out of a million next!!!!
Racism plays big part black men are fool for not to a addressing that key issue in this matter mammy boy talk.
Fear is a cop-out. At some point, you have to acknowledge HATE.
They on here splanning for cops that kill black men .
400 yrs & counting! Cops r the original slave catchers. If they scared, how come they not scared of armed whites? Cops r corrupt from the top down. They send rogue cops 2 black neighborhoods. & stop saying cop culture, cop culture is white supremacy. Cops r nothing but gangmembers with badges.
400 yrs & counting!
When cops are arrested for anything they don't talk to the cop that arrested them. They're told to talk to a lawyer.
Black people: Police don't fear you, they HATE YOU and wanna see you gone. These dudes are oblivious with this MLK type talk
Sorry but in this country a black person has no rights that a white person is bound to respect
Did the dude that's an LAPD officer just say that it's not supposed to be like that but unfortunately the narrative has changed?…changed?…are our people forgetting how policing came about in this country?…these muthafuckas originated as slave catchers(kidnapped victim catchers)…we need to stop calling our ancestors slaves too, they never agreed to that vile heinous shit…let's just start calling it exactly what it was…kidnap victims
The guy in the black suit is exactly right they don't teach it in the academy it's learned once the officer hit the streets they follow the guidance of the field training officer and their co-workers once they're in the field..
It's so sad, I served as an officer for 10 years and I ALWAYS treated everyone like a human being first when encountering them. Just the same on my off days I would run into people on the street and they would remember me and thank me for treating them well, when it could be a different conversation.
To the Brother that says they ain't all bad. Well guess what if a good cop keeps his mouth shut, while the bad cop beats my ass…HE IS JUST AS BAD AS THE BAD COP..GTFOH!!! all caps
In 2020 it's a shame that we still have to have THE TALK!!!
Hello commenters – does anyone know how n where you can watch the full episodes?
More damn excuses from sheep!
It's a damn shame none on the panel understands or know the origins of policing.
I love to see strong influential black men chopping it up in a manly/profound roundtable discussion.
Everyone laughed when he spoke about the large book of torts. THAT IS THE PROBLEM. We need more officers to be educated on the law.
Sadly, that Blue Wall of Silence will NEVER go away!!
Stop making excuses for racist ass cops
Didn’t know there was a FOX SOUL, now I know! Great conversation! I hope to see more like it with a women and young(er) person included on the conversation. Everyone seem to come to the same conclusion, even Esq. Dunn (whom seems sympathetic toward the police); the policing culture which is a derivative of the Jim Crow era has not changed much at its core. None white Americans do not walk around wanting to fear Law Enforcement officers we have been taught/ socially engineered to fear them. I am a 41 yr old mother of a young man and I am afraid for him on a daily basis. If you’re asking why, what is he doing? You are part of the problem! It’s because he has his license, he has a beloved decrepit car, which he loves to drive because he can. For this reason alone I have had many sleepless nights hoping he doesn’t make a wrong move (or not )and gets pulled over. We have had the “talk”, and he knows his rights as an American but he is still afraid of the police. Why?!
I'm glad somebody put it out there Mike hill you did a great job 👍👍👍
We should have no police at all. Private Security and and 2A all the way
Sadly police brutality 🚔 isn’t going anywhere because it’s a way to keep certain people down in the DUMPS!!🤦🏽♂️
