I feel physicallly sick everytime i see a video of the police abusing their power on the people they are meant to ‘serve & protect’. I’m seeing more videos of police brutality than ever before and something has got to change! I decided to rewrite ‘The times they are a-changing’ by Bob Dylan to show that it wont be this way forever. Change is coming!
source
I’m 19 years old, sat in my room
Everyday my heart breaks when I turn on the news
Another man murdered, a woman shot dead
How do you sleep, while the people you’ve taken
Have sons and have daughters they won’t see again
The times they are a changing
Your not scared to kill, cos that badge keeps you safe
But sooner or later your lucks gonna change
Justice is coming, for the crimes you have made
If you think we'll forget your mistaken
You’ll pay for the lives, the ones you took away
Oh The times they are a changing
Your job is to serve, and protect us all
But who do we ring when police break the law
I won’t be quiet, while humans are killed
I'm gonna stand for the people your failing
Things aren’t getting worse, They are just getting filmed
Oh The times they are a changing
If you hate this song, if you take offence
At least now you know your part of the problem
Ya turn a blind eye, Like they want you to do
But there’s a war outside and its raging
How dare you not care cos it don’t affect you
Oh, The times they are a changing
Nice lyrics !! You have got such sweet voice !!bravo👌
All I want to say is that yes all the bad and racist cops are stupid and deserve to go to prison, but there are still amazing police officers who do really care about the safety of others
The first that I saw you on the internet I knew I was a fan. This might be a little too late to say but this move of you being loud to what you stand for was so important to me. I just wanna adore you for the rest of my life. This is clever. Salute to you Alfie.
Nice song young man. Please permit Humble self an offer to you to read lyrics to my song a Tribute to Mr. George Floyd.
A Tribute in Memory of Mr. George Floyd
Don't close the door please let the light shine in.
Whispering sounds that echo off the walls.
Straps laced too tightly no room for me to move.
A blinding glance confuses me.
Words can't express the pain of false bravado.
Piercing stares from the tormented few.
All sides suffering
Can't take this life no more.
Nothing to chance for a man to break free.
I only need one eye to be open.
One ear to listen to what I'm trying to say.
Just take a moment to come inside and stand with me.
Everyday's a nightmare
I need someone to come save me.
As I lay distressed pleading please help me mama.
I see no beacon my life's growing dim.
Robbed of tomorrow can't help those who were chosen.
It's up to you where we go from here.
If I could rise I'd speak up for my freedom with every breath I take that God has given me.
Come take a chance and take a stand in harmony.
There will be no tomorrow if we don't unite to be free.
The violence that follows will only fuel their hate.
Take the path that carries your voice of change.
Let's lay to rest and and put an end to this shame.
Be the hope your children need you to be.
If I could rise I'd speak up for my freedom with every breath I take that God has given me.
Come take a chance and take a stand in harmony.
Everyday's a nightmare I need someone to come stand for me.
There will be no tomorrow if we don't unite to be free.
Rest in Peace Mr. George Floyd

Your lyrics was so good, hope people understand and manage to find God's mercy some day… Alfie great job!👏🏼💙
This was a great rewording, Alfie! I cried hearing this. You’ve captured the “times”.

Excellent work Alfie!
do yourself a big favor….either play music or be a politician. Don't do both.
Loved it 👍❤️

Good voice +beautiful lyrics make the song perfect💯👍
Love the bit of Bob Dylan in there!
amazing, you are a beautiful soul
❤❤❤
Great video as always Alfie. It's good to hear your thoughts on this. Not all cops are bad. There are good ones who are heroes and bad ones who are villains. All lives matter, not any certain type, race, or creed. Good things come to those who do good things and karma comes back to those who do bad things, just saying… thank you again Alfie for your courage to sing this song.
Its really beautifullll :"))))
You should do a cover of We Are the World! By Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder and Lional Richie!
Alfie love you tekst ❤️❤️🇩🇰🇩🇰
I wish that everything will change soon! 😭💔
sing they dont care about us plz
You are so polite, charming
Alfie, I sent you a DM on Insta as well, but it is so critically important that you have raised your voice in song. Change more often than not from the efforts of artists and musicians as they give voice and articulate what is morally right, but highlights human rights. Brilliant and so proud of you my young buskering friend. You keep doing what is right, what is moral, what is a must and above all continue to use that powerful voice of yours to effect change. ~ Brody
This is awesome. Thanks for this cover, Alfie. #BlackLivesMatter
Such a powerful song. Very well done. As a citizen of the US, it is so very sad to see this shit on the news everyday. I'm so happy to see the world coming together and demanding a change. Thank you Alfie, thank you
This is the kind of protest I fully support along with the peaceful ones. I'm 100% against the looting and rioting. Thank you standing up for your convictions. It's not an easy thing to do. Don't worry about the few dislikes. Stay safe.
