Silly argument just because it happens too a small amount of people doesn’t mean it’s not problematic. And of course killing people who are unarmed is something that should be addressed by a militarized police department.
I see your points – thank you for sharing
In my opinion, what we see is the noise created by the minority of people who are on the far left or far right. The majority of people are in the middle (purple – not red or blue) and are thinking the way you propose; sadly, we are not making our voices heard above the noise.
because millions of babies are aborted each year in the u.s and no where near that amount is being killed by the police each year. you guys argue from emotions but have no facts.
Britney spears should say "He's not that innocent" ahahhahah no seriously he was not as innocent as you depicted him. Not an innocent life at all Lol
Wow! So all the (scumbag) cops standing around watching their (brother in blue)Kill another Human Being makes me puke🤮…literally!!
3% of arrests lead to death? Not a good start sir…
Its a lot of blah, blah, blah and nothings gonna change. Why dont you talk about ways the country can reform the police department start a petition to get the ball rolling. Complaining, looting and protesting is not gonna do anything. This matter need legislation otherwise they'll be a lawsuit, possibly acquittal and this samething happening all over again.
This wasn't a racial issue. This a case of officers abusing their power and authority. You had a Latino and an Asian help the White officer restrain Floyd, but I don't see anyone mentioning that. He also died due to other causes where possibly drugs were involved among health conditions.
Are these created crisis? Are they trying to cause a race war or class war? Are things as bad as we perceive them to be, or is this all about something else? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OR8zIkbuDEQ
The law should be upheld but if the end result to all of this is the removing our rights, we have zero hope for justice and we will see more injustice. They are trying to brainwash us so that we will ignore the obvious.
That's a really strange question or a really strange way to ask about police brutality. I hope your family or loved ones will never have to ask that question in relation to you. Peace.
Man I don’t think people are arguing if it’s brutal. I think some cases are and some aren’t. My biggest frustration is that they pretend to care make it a police brutality thing but it’s all racial. You never heard about the white women shot by the minority cop last month in Minnesota, and that was brutal. They want to make it racial (white oppressing black) but By the stats I don’t think blacks are disproportionately killed by cops anyway. I don’t like how we make everything racial and then see racism as the major issue holding black people back. And I don’t think that’s true. As one trying to invest in the black community it seems counterproductive to allow them to be handed excuses or fabricated “realities” of the white man. These are just my thoughts. I won’t respond to any debates/arguments. I’m not here for that but I will read other comments to see other perspectives.
"Not all cops are bad" is a strange rebuttal when ppl call out the cops. The police are a monolith. They all take the same oath and ppls lives are in their hands.
They collectively take credit when they do something good but when shit hits the fan, suddenly "not all cops are bad"?
The police are a collective. Doctors are a collective. Firefighters are a collective. They take all take the SAME OATH (within their respective, life saving profession) and 100% represent one another. Otherwise those oaths are meaningless.
We can't compare cops to civilians. It's not even close to being equivalent.
I just wanna know how come i heard crickets about this story?

Love the down the middle point of view. Officers need to be held to the same laws we do. If they hurt anyone if should be a felony. I’ve been beat down by a couple cops and understand there are good ones but when they over do in any way they need to be held to the fullest extent of the law because they should know the difference and should pay dearly when they abandon the rules that they attempt to enforce.
If you want to live in a Multicultural or Communist society then you will have to have a Police State.
Coming from a Ghetto in Chicago yes it’s brutal. I saw it everyday. They roughed people up and beat people.
when you show that picture of a cop kneeling on a mans neck i find that reprehensible and the officer should be charged. I am sad to see that this stuff turns into a white vs black matter it is not. It is excessive force no matter who is doing it. Unfortunately in the communities of color there are not enough black officers on the force so it is always played as a race issue in the media. That cop was wrong in what he did. But please don’t burn down your community’s over it.
Amen
People need the evaluate situations as they are …not as a blanket defense of one group or another.
What about the people that threaten cops lives…they don’t have the right to defend themselves?
I don't think anyone thinks we should just believe all officers. I think the argument is that there are most definitely shitty police out there, but we shouldn't assume that a cop is bad without a reason. I personally have met both good and bad cops, and I judge them individually. We obviously need to do something to prevent these idiot officers from being able to follow these heinous acts through, but we also shouldn't hate all police, because, although a lot of them are shitty, we would still have a lot of problems without them. (By the way, it did seem like you were bashing the right pretty hard man, but I promise you, not all of them think that way, just like not all leftists are the crazy SJWs you see on YouTube. It's just that most of the people who aren't spouting nonsense aren't getting the attention they deserve, and/or aren't speaking up.)
“I can't breathe”
“They gonna kill me”
“My stomach hurts”
“My neck hurts”
“Everything hurts”
WELCOME TO AMERIKKKA we don't learn from history we just repeat it.

Being killed by cops and a car accident are two different
His Video is One Of Few Videos That I can NOT Understand BECAUSE HE CONTRADICTS HIMSELF FROM ONE SENTENCE TO NEXT SENTENCE. He Might Be One Of Those Uncle Tom(s), Which Are Racist Blacks Guys That Wish They Were Born as White Racists Or Like Being Slaves To Their White Racists Masters, That Could Be This Guy. I'm NOT SURE, Since He Contradicts Himself From One Sentence To Next, As if He Running For Political Office. He Talks Like a Politician, Who Have Habit Of Being Contradictory, Similar To Traitorous Founding Fathers, if You CAREFULLY TRY TO ANALYZE THEIR LEGAL ARGUMENT FOR AMERICAN CONSTITUTION is Bait And Switch For Legalized Slavery, Which is Legal Trickery To Confuse You To Get You To Submit To Slavery Without You Knowing it, is WHY America Bill Of Rights is So important, is WHY Almost ALL Cops Hate American Bill Of Rights, Which Professors Also Like To Violate, Which Also Almost ALL College Students ARE in Denial ABOUT NATURE OF EDUCATION IS NOT ABOUT EDUCATION, That it is Also Legal And Philosophical Trickery Of BAIT AND SWITCH, To Fool And Confuse Public To Submit To Slavery AND Without Knowing it, is WHY it is important To Support AOC And Her Political Platform, Which is Mostly [ NOT Entirely ] Correct, including it is important To Support AOC To GET RID OF CRONY CAPITALISTS THAT HAVE CORRUPTED OUR POLITICAL LEGAL ECONOMIC SYSTEM OF GOVERNMENT INCLUDING CRONY CAPITALISTS HAVE CORRUPTED Higher Education..
There were four cops no need for what happened and george was in cuffs WTF
I have to disagree with a lot of this. Obviously police brutality is out there and most people hate when this kind of thing happens. No it's not ok if even 1 person dies for no good reason. However, where I have a problem is when people blow it up to hating police in general. Like he said 3% of unarmed arrest end in death. Yes it's not good this happened, but it's not a particularly high number compared to other causes of death. Please don't hate all police because there are a few bad ones out there. I also dont understand the point of this video. If someone can tell me that would be nice. Seems like he just wanted to say police brutality is bad, which was already obvious. I think videos like this just stoke the fire of the people being against the police which dosent seem helpful to anyone.
I am not left or right on this issue because I don’t think it is a political issue but a humanity issue that needs not only the attention of the justice system but also the local communities ongoing attention.
I agree with your larger contention that humanities problems should be a part of all our lives to make better. To take the time to stop and give a hand up, pay it forward; these are ways of living a life and training of children to live a life.
I will take on your contention people on the right think because the number of people who die is such a low number it is not worth the worry. This isn’t the way the right frames the response. Their contention is the left is promoting the idea black people can not move about in this society freely because whites and particularly the police are out to kill them. It is never ok for people to die at the hands of another. It is always wrong. But to say that police brutality is a national emergency is an overstatement designed to scare people and drive them in a particular manner like cattle to a milking. That is disgusting. These deaths may not be a part of a national emergency, but a local issue that needs immediate community attention and concern along with justice. amd
Should be a part of a national discussion along with the many other problems we face. Your overall argument about humanity should being living their lives with concern for other humans with problems is very strong. You don’t need to water down a political parties take on an issue to make an excellent point. Well done and other post that makes a strong point.
The Media is here to divide us – we are all people, everyone in the country is a America. Don't buy into the hatred – but instead seek the truth, and prosecute those guilty of hurting others.
We are not one, we have never just lived in Peace
I'm not from USA but I really like your analisys. Especially about the right-left issue. Here in Brazil things are way worst. There are corruption from both sises and the population is all against each other. I lost all hope
Respect man..You nailed it.
No, it isn’t the right’s fault. You’ve conditioned the entire American people to pay unblinking attention to the government and its enforcers. It may never be questioned, then act surprised it isn’t questioned.
The right is for small government. That means less rules, less regulations. Explain to me how a giant government with huge regulatory power is somehow going to result in less police interactions. It makes zero sense my man.
I'm not an American but but I always noticed that people are always described as white or African/American. Just in that alone is cause for concern. No wonder there is so much racism if people are divided by colour. Aren't you all American? Racism will always remain when American people of colour are treated differently from white Americans. I don't think a lot has changed from the slave days as far as treatment by authority goes. As far as the treatment George Floyd received is no difference than a slave would have received so long ago. Pathetic when so many onlookers begged them to get off him but too scared to force the issue. Says a lot about how much the police are trusted.
Just heard that no charges are to be laid against the police and yet in every video I've seen George was handcuffed and posing no threat to anyone and yet every video shows utter contempt by the police for George Floyd and also for the bystanders begging for them to release him. No charges when millions have watched them murder a man and that is exactly what this is, a cold blooded murder.
U needa delete this. Dumbass title
Engagement and arrests are being partnered with humiliations, dehumanization, pain, violence and occasional lethality as a normal. In most countries people would rise up and "do something"… America marches like they have done for 200 years.. This has resulted in the police getting more power and less accountability than they previously had.
Black the blue is losing sentiment, even in the right. You wouldn't believe how many "follow-the-constitution" conservative types are disillusioned by the police behavior during lock down. They had the chance to stand up for the constitution, and they did not. You will see way less conservative types backing the blue on this one.
