TAVARES — The Lake County Museum of Art in Tavares is commemorating Black History Month with a special exhibit honoring African American heritage.
Featuring local artists Belina Buisson-Wright and Jillian Marie Browning, “Diaspora: Our Life Experiences as Black Women” will run through Feb. 27.
Buisson-Wright, a native Floridian of Haitian-American descent, said she is fascinated by the art, music and clothing of other cultures. Her art is strongly influenced by her…
