The Network of Public Interest Lawyers has said the first week of the presidential campaigns has been marked by some violent and reservedly illegal conduct by the Police.
Coordinator of the Public Interest Lawyers’ Secretariat Arthur Nsereko notes that some candidates were arrested while others had their planned meetings blocked with venues being rounded off.
