Looters targeted 2 Syracuse shoe stores after police brutality protests; 2 people charged

Syracuse, N.Y. — Looters targeted two StreeTgame shoe stores in Syracuse overnight, making off with merchandise and leading to the arrest of two Syracuse residents. according to court papers.

The looting happened in the aftermath of a police brutality protest in the city Saturday that spanned into the early hours this morning.

Cassandra Williams, 25, and Delvon Adams, 28, are both charged with third-degree burglary, a felony. Adams was also charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor.
