MT. MORRIS TWP, MI — Officials in Mt. Morris Township have named a new police chief to oversee the department.
Township board members unanimously approved appointing Lt. Michael Veach to the position at a special meeting on Monday, Aug. 17.
A 17-year veteran of the Mt. Morris Township Police Department, Veach will take over the spot from outgoing Chief Terence Green.
