Orange County sets aside $2M for task force’s plan to stop gun violence

The group “is still doing its work; they have not finalized their work; and consequently they have not finalized their recommendations,” Mayor Jerry Demings said during the commission meeting. “But what I do know — based upon discussions that the various committees and the task force at large have had — there are going to be requests for additional funding.”
