Protestors demand an end to police brutality

Protestors filled the streets of the capitol city a day after Trayford Pellerin, a black man killed by lafayette police, was laid to rest.

This protest wasn’t just for Pellerin, it was for everyone who has lost their lives at the hands of a Louisiana police officer.

Veeda Abusaleh, Alton Sterling’s aunt, was one of the many family members who shared their stories.
