South Africa officially withdraw from upcoming Rugby Championship

After plenty of speculation around their status, South Africa have officially pulled out of the upcoming Rugby Championship due to player welfare and logistical concerns.

The Springboks were due to play against the Wallabies, All Blacks and Pumas later this month, but it will now become a Tri-Nations Series. 

With COVID-19 still affecting international travel, South African officials made the call to withdraw themselves from the tournament beginning on October 31.
