  1. I am a full-blooded white Scotch-Irish-American born in the 1990's….and when I learned about the horrors that the African people experienced, I couldn't believe my ears. It was SO different from what I was taught in early 2000's American schools; the most we were taught from Africa was Mansa Musa's rule over Timbuktu. The rest of our history lessons came from the Egyptian, Greek, and Roman empires up until European Imperialism leading up to the American Revolution and the false teachings of "freedom" we got through the Civil War, and apparently the slaves were freed and everyone lived happily ever after when the Civil Rights Movement happened, right? NO! America is drowning in its own RACISM and NOBODY CAN DENY IT!!! Something has to be done to retain our reputation as the greatest country on earth, as Steve once proclaimed us!

  2. BE PROUD ABOUT YOUR ROOTS AND DONT LOOK THEM DOWN BECAUSE YOU COME FROM A PIECE OF LAND THAT EVEN BELONG TO THE ONES LIVE THERE NOW FOR THE MOMENT LATINOS BE ARE SO PROUD ABOUT OUR LAND BLACK BROTHERS NEED TO FEEL SAME WAY ABOUT AFRICA AND UNCLE SAM I GUESS ABOUT EUROPE RIGHT ? CUZ THEY DONโ€™T BELONG HERE, YOU CAN STAY HERE FOR THE MOMENT BUT ALWAYS REMEMBER WE ARE FROM MEXICO TO CHILE ONE โ˜๏ธ NATION

  3. Well the truth of the matter is, that everybody can't be from Ghana! And there are expats and expats. There are African-Americans, and African African-Americans and we really don't know ''who'' is being welcomed home. I want to talk about this. I'm a 77 year old tv/radio host in America. When Arakana Chiahomboro-Quao said, "the year of return," we 'really' had no idea what was what. We thought those of us who were descendants of slaves snatched out of Africa were being welcomed back. But it seemed that this idea was inaccurate. So we need to find out what is what. There is confusion over exactly '''WHOM" is being invited back! '

I could go into the whys and wherefores of being African-American but I'll just say that I'M NOT AFRICAN AMERICAN. I'm not even American by U.S. standards. Our government saw to that 400 years. Then let their people run amuck on our asses until they finally were prosecuted. I'm ''in'' America, But I'm not ''of'' America. My heart is not with this country they had their many chances!

  4. Well, good for Steve who has the luxury to move between 2 continents. Many people cannot do that…financially or otherwise. There's many obstacles that native blacks have had to overcome and will continue to do so. I can't throw the baby out with the bath water. There are still many good things about this nation despite the racism we have to contend with. I would love to live in several places around the world, but cannot afford to. In any case, America is my home and all the best to those who choose to relocate. I wish them well.

  5. Hehehehe Americans they still think African is a country, Try to complain in my country about the government they will kill you and will threaten you family if they try to speak up.

  6. But africa is a hell for some Africans like me since we have a dictators governments we have we canโ€™t expressed the freedom we had so itโ€™s better to live here in America ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ my second home country๐Ÿ™

  7. โ›“๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ UNITED STATES OF AFRICA ๐Ÿ”ฅโ›“๏ธ
We will go to war for this African blood
Something tells me Africa is wearing heels and dancing on a thin thread if we don't act now we will destroy our offsprings futures
We have to make sure they get to enjoy the life we couldn't because of the failures of our ancestors

  8. a hundred dollars ,dude 20 bucks is more than enough. Coloured in SouthAfrica is an ethnicity thing like being Korean,Japanese or Chinese all them Asian the same with Coloureds,Khoisan, Banto black all of them African.

  9. It never crossed my mind to live in America, were black people are treated like trash by stupid white racist people who boast about their color with nothing in their hands . I have come to realize that most white racist are poor and stupid

  10. I don't blame Steve for giving such a warning. Living in this corrupt, racist country takes more than a notion. Black ppl who have been awaken are just waiting for YAH to gather us back home!!!

  11. Even when we come together in groups here in America ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ we don't seem to like eachother. Despite the fact that we have some racist people here, we are still mostly in danger with our own people. Mostly likely to have someone that looks like us to take our life.

  12. What Steve Harvey is saying is fully not true. It might be true for Ghana and a few other African countries, but not ALL of Africa. Africa is not a country, it is a continent with 54 countries. Not all African countries are like Ghana. Many Africans view Black Americans as sellouts. Different from them.

Most of Africa is still very much colonized. Africans do not control the continent, European colonizers do … and the United States … and now China is in the exploitation game.

Steve comments that Africa is rich in resources. Africa used to be richer in resources but European colonizers and invaders are still deeply imbedded on the continent and have raped the continent of its valuable resources and continue to do so this very day.

The African people are still largely poor because of colonzation and exploitation.

You see, Steve has money. He has notoriety. And, money talks, opens doors, and expedites things in many African countries especially the very poor ones.

I have seen Africans treat White foreigners better than their own people. Why? Because they were White and had money. And money is power.

Until you have visited and even lived the many African countries and see first hand for yourself what it is REALLY like, one will quickly conclude it is not as Steve and other would like to romanticize it to be.

The White man is in the land and he is not leaving. He is there to buy, corrupt, and control African leadership, control the resources, and ensure the African people remain largely poor and wanting.

Moreover, to ensure Africa – as a continent – NEVER unites and rise to an economic world power.

Until the White invaders/colonizers are removed from Africa; and Africa is uncolonized; and all vestiages of colonization are removed (i.e. Christianity, etc many Africans fear the White god and Jesus); and the ancestral African culture and true histories are resurfaced … Africa will continue to be what it is now: The White mans cash cow.

It is not as Black and White as Steve makes it to be. (no pun intended)

I shake my head at this video because it does not paint a truthful picture of the continent and what has been happening there for generations.

  13. Interesting but I still do not feel wanted by Africans who are from a country that I really do not know much about yet I am part African, and as far as Blacks in Africa being shot, social media seems to say different!

  14. Thanks Steve ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™u got the point . Africa/ blacks are just a great people . There's power, wealth, love, resilience, etc in Africa. I remember when we went to Netherlands n came back to Uganda, as we were landing everyone of us was smiling….. Africa needs empowermt n fight corruption… GBU!

  15. Why don't you go back to Africa and shut your business down in the USA? I wish more blacks would go back to Africa. There would be more peace here. Funny Steve says police don't shoot you there but the local tribes will. What an idiotic statement made by Steve. Come on Steve put your money where your mouth is! Cut the word homage and leave already!

  16. Blacks are treated with contempt wherever they go and that is something no human government can completely erase, because right from infancy parents and the Society has engraved this type of feelings towards blacks in the heart of their young ones. So itโ€™s almost impossible to root out completely.

  17. Did African kings not sell their own people as slaves to white people in exchange for textiles, spices and goods from Europe during the Atlantic slave tradeโ€ฆ yโ€™all were snatched away at the hands of your own people. has Africa been an indigenously peaceful continent or a continent plagued by tribal wars and warlords? Are there no billions in corrupt African wealth and assets stored overseas by corrupt bureaucrats? Humans are humans, we all share similar emotions like envy, jealousy, lust, greed, and more. these are not western concepts or ideas these are human. This some BS
