Organizer Floyd Stokes said Friday that he is expecting at least several hundred people to line parts of North Front Street in Harrisburg on Saturday morning for the “Take A Knee” protest against police brutality and racism.
“The response has been overwhelmingly positive,” he said.
Even the forecast of temperatures in the 90s hasn’t proven to be a deterrent. That, Stokes said, is why he planned for the event to begin at 11 a.m.
