Democrats control EVERY Black Community in the nation and controlled Congress for 95% of the last 100 years. They’ve NEVER acknowledged Juneteenth, they BUILT the confederate states, THEY hung the confederate portraits in the capital, and morons like Pelosi walked by them EVERY DAY, for last 30 years and said NOTHING!
Not until they can use this as a partisan political weapon against aTrump rally does it become a big deal.

Today is the day to learn that people are NOT “slaves”. It has been scientifically and historically documented that people’s that have been historically held captive, separated from their families, packaged and shipped all over the world; bound, sold and forced to labor under the alleged “ownership” of another human being, has not been capable of removing our spirit, our hearts, our dignity or humanity.
To refer to survivors and our ancestors as “slaves” only reinforces the inherited illusion of the “ownership” of our humanity.
“People held under slavery” may be a good beginning for an alternative.
It at least begins to allow room for our humanity and dignity to breath.

Of course the 700,000 or so Whites that died and hundreds of thousands more that spilled blood leading up to the Emancipation – well -those statues and markers need be torn down as they offend the people they freed… the rest are just standing on soap boxes.

Black people should realize who fought with them and died to set them free. And who fought and died to keep them on the Southern Democrat’s plantations. And who still seeks to keep them in bondage to the Democrat political plantation. I had relatives that died to abolish slavery and give equal rights. But now WE’RE the racists??? Better have a deeper look into to who actually governs the cities and states where oppressive police and economic policies persist.
Our educational system needs to teach the real history of slavery and not the white wash version taught in southern schools that skirt the truth .
