This list is heavily western african oriented ,only 3 non western african countries are in this list (DR Congo,south africa and tanzania)
They are many non western africans singer who had a great 2020,like innoss b from congo who had some of the most streamed songs (yope ,yope remix,olandi )both in 2020 and 2019,and aya nakamura is african but most of his fans are in europe, they are many africans in europe or in the western hemisphere who had a great year than aya nakamura.
