Vacaville heralds Black community

Amid a backdrop of blue skies, open hearts and equally open minds, a crowd of about 100-strong turned out Saturday for Vacaville’s inaugural Black History Month celebration.

Gathered at the CreekWalk, people of all ages and ethnicities participated in the event — sponsored by the Tri-City NAACP, the Downtown Vacaville Business Improvement District, Citizens Financials and Icon Connects.
