  1. Yo! I was surprised to see a young Jamaican woman speaking like this. I’m Ghanaian but born in the UK. I started going back in 2014 and felt that instant feeling of been home that most black people feel when they touch down. I been telling my Jamaican friends that they really need to make the trip but most don’t seem serious so it’s really refreshing to hear you talking like this. I felt exactly the same way you did in England, something just isn’t right about living here not forever anyway. I’ve built a small business on a piece of land my mum gave me in Ghana just outside Accra and will be going back to live when the rona dies down a bit. Defo have to link up 1 day just on a friendly vibe, I’m a man so I know how people will think I’m tryna holla at you but on the reals is just nice to see like minded people and also when you’re in Ghana you need other western minded people around you, it just makes the experience better to be honest. Proud of you though for taking the 1st steps to get in touch with your roots and your right we as black people need to wake up to the fact that the west isn’t heaven and Africa isn’t hell, probably the exact opposite for black people. ✊🏾

  2. Enjoyed your video, you are so right we need to leave here, so many people I talk to are saying the same thing. As for me its like the spirit is calling me to go. I will first visit Gambia then after Ghana. God bless you 🙏🏾🙏🏾🔥🔥✊🏾

  3. Nice,GHANA is GREAT for HOLIDAY,but to stay and live in Ghana you need an INCOME,also try areas like CapeCoast it has a lot of blacks from the diaspora living there

  6. GOOD, YOU DECIDED TO REPATRIATE TO GHANA. TO MAKE YOUR MOVE EASIER, YOU CAN SPEND THE FIRST THREE YEARS TO MOVE GRADUALLY BY SHUTTLING BETWEEN THE UK AND GHANA AND THEN ONCE YOUR BUSINESSES IN GHANA GETS WELL GROUNDED AND GROWING, YOU START BUILDING YOUR HOUSE, THEN YOU SPEND MORE TIME IN GHANA AND MOVE PERMANENTLY AND NOT LOOKING BACK AGAIN.

  7. Hi Naomi, Just watched your video. I have been watching quite a lot of videos on this topic lately. I am also Jamaican decent. Tell me did you ever consider to go to Jamaica? If not why not? If yes what changed your mind?

  8. Ghanaian's built and named Jamaica from a local Ghanaian language called Jama ma ka – Meaning, it seems we won't go back. This was when the first group of slaves sent there realised they it's likely they won't go back again.

  9. i am planing to relocate and set up a business in africa.what i would want from you any whatts app business our people who have relocate to africa group.keep up the good work princess

  10. Hello Hello
You are frankly the first person I have found who worked in housing.
I am a Ghanaian living in London and my back ground is also Social Housing with London Local Authorities and Housing Associations.
Love to chat with you, preferably either Skype or Whats app, but please well away from this platform.
    This is Nash from London.

  11. On the subject of racism…am a Ghanaian born and bred, moved to the UK age 18, and I never understood the word racism till i got here, the friends i made here used to laugh at me cos they couldn't believe i didn't know what racism meant. I knew what race meant at that age, but racism as someone hating on u cos of ur skin colour, it was a whole new thing to me, i still couldn't wrap my head round it after sometime, it didnt make sense to me cos in Gh, i was in school with 2 white boys, i didnt c any different, we played n did everything together.

Edit: that innocent idea or thought of mine didnt last very long lol, till i started watching stuff on tv lol, the self awareness n self consciousness it brought to me was overwhelming lol, having to watch over ur shoulders every step u take is absolutely crazy lol, honestly why are people like that?

  12. Two words made me subscribed ….. Ghana and Repatriation… DO NOT give up, plan ahead…and make it happen…Africa is today, tomorrow and forever … your brother from DRCongo

  13. Your channel came up in my feed and glad it did. My ancestors are Ghanian by way of JA on my Grandfather side. I am feeling Gambia so I will be visiting there first. Nice video. Love Birmingham, lovely Caribbean community there.

  14. Yes, it is about culture. Makes sense, all of it, except the slavist denial that Africa fought to capture slaves for sale to Arabs, Greeks, Romans, and eventually Europe, and the Americas. Evidently some of It still goes on today. Africa isn't heaven, but it is where its descendants belong. Good move!

  15. Greetings Sis that content was the TRUTH🔥 I agree I'm born and raised in E.London due to my grandparents coming to work from Jamaica and Guyana,! In my family I'm the only Afrikan1st 3rd generation that's had the calling, so I will continue what my ancestors started and pass the baton to my other family members as they need to see first! We must make Afrika home again, for myself it's 🇬🇭 I have to email you to explaain furhter, so glad I found your channel✊

  16. He lets all create what's app group , I'm African born who want to go home but I don't like how Africa and African union run , I want to open the biggest media platform to start putting pressure on African union and African leaders .

  17. I'm from brum too and like you, I've wanted to leave the UK for a few years . Ill be watching more of your videos for hints and tips, but I need to start with holidays to Africa as I've never been . Your story is definitely inspirational. Thank you

  18. Yo Sis , this is your first video i'm watching , and i just fell in love . I like the way you talk . If you're looking for a husband – i'm a candidate .
You are moving to Ghana , well – i'm in neighbouring Nigeria . Could you drop me a line ?

  19. Oh wow!!!! I have so much to say about this video but first of all thank you so much for the content in this video, you broke it down to a 'T'! All your points resonate so well with me. Im a new subscriber by the way. Secondly you are absolutely gorgeous, I thought you were at least 10 years younger. I'm Ghanaian but also UK born and bred however schooled in ghana for about 4 years and it was the best time of my life, and Im also looking to make my way back home. The thing i like about you is that youve spoken about your plans for survival when you move to ghana cos alot of youtubers talk about how they relocate to Ghana but not about how they plan to make money to survive there. Sorry about the lengthy response but you are such an inspiration and im very excited to see more content. 🤗🤗

  20. I am also starting a low cost housing project in Ghana. Especially for diasporans wishing to go back to West Africa. If you are interested, let me know and I will send you some info.

  21. Good luck to you. I'm sure you'll succeed as you have the right attitude. Very commendable that you want to do something for the everyday people i.e affordable housing.
