Man falls from ride on Royal Caribbean ship

Casey Holladay, 25, was trying out the cruise ship’s new SkyPad ride last month when he suddenly fell about 20 feet.

  1. Did they snap or come unhooked at the top? The ropes had no pressure on them when they broke or whatever they did. And what are the chances of both of them doing that?

  2. This happened back in February. I went on this same boat (Mariner of the Seas) from March 11th to March 15th and I did the sky pad as well. The thing that freaks me out is that my friend did it at the same time as me and he used that same exact trampoline. It was fun but I will never get on that thing again

  3. I cruise a few times a year. I see some pretty bad things but also see some people actually say they are hurt or slipped and try to get money. This guy will definitely get a few million dollars. His injuries are bad and he is lucky he didn’t break his neck. I hope he tries to cruise again but go with NCL ✊

  4. Boo! I thought he fell off the ship. The only thing newsworthy about a fall on a ship is if you literally fall off the ship into the sea. This is baby news.

  5. When you are on a cruise ship you are not on US soil. You are out in open waters. You are not afforded the same convienences that you may have when you are snug in your communities.

  6. If anyone has ever been on one of these things, or sky diving, scuba diving, canoeing, w.e you know they make you sign a waiver to relieve themselves of any responsibility…so he may not be getting paid like alot of you are saying.
