A cluster of showers and thunderstorms in the Atlantic has increased its chances of developing into a tropical depression this week as it approaches the Antilles and Leeward islands. Whether it will have any impact on Florida remains to be seen. The NHC said the system now has a 50% chance of further development, an increase from 40% on Saturday and 20% last week.

I’m going to Disney World from august 9th-14th. Is this going to affect my trip?
It's going North I predict it's going North
You basically said nothing
in Florida wish me luck
Sure boys. It's predicted that we'll be going through all the names this season, so we'll be expecting a new-named storm just about every other day starting in August thru September. What is that? About 30? You may as well close Florida for the season and start sleeping at the weather station. Here comes Debby…sound the alarms….lock up you tourist traps…she's coming…she's coming hard…it's gonna be very wet.
The American model was updated, most likely using AI, it was dead on with Beryl, so let's hope for American made. I got to get the heck out of Florida , it was fun as a kid, but I'm too old for this,,,,
it is a rain storm. these things happen sometimes everywhere. you might see a flash. that is lightning. you may hear something. that is thunder from the aforementioned lightning. you might see some water drops falling and draining away. that is the rain.

Stop with the Alarmist view! Nothing but HYPE and sensationalism! Main stream media are a bunch of Snake oil salespeople! So full of shit!
LMAO I have a cruise that weekend. Whatever will have a drink in my hand to cheer me up.
Weak weathermen.
scare me not. Every morning I look at the NOAA site radar. there is only a zero percent chance of development in 48 hours, and a 60% in 7 days of a cyclone. And nothing else in the area.I think he is trying to scare us. This is the link that All weather reports concerning hurricanes come from. https://www.nhc.noaa.gov/
