  1. Why do South Africa not ask for money from BRICS nations? Why must USA pay for AIDS in SA?… Russia, India and China must help them… not Brazil as they do not have money….. Why did SA join BRICS… what is BRICS doing for them?

  2. Three European nations have asked the Trump administration for their unspent USAID contributions to be refunded.
Sweden, Norway and the Netherlands had been partnering with USAID on a project called Water and Energy for Food, or WE4F.

  3. I think the question that needs to be answered here is if all this money helped. Not in treating people who have aids but to deter the people from sleeping around and spreading the disease. Another question is: are you a VICTIM if you knew that you could get infected when you sleep around. Perhaps the former president Zuma should be asked to help these "victims". Is it not he who told them a shower helps prevent aids. And the former minister of health who told them to eat beet…..

  4. Wake up South Africans! The cutting of USAID to South Africa's medical has NOTHING to do with Afriforum. Why would Trump give a damn about a little group of white South Africans, when he clearly only cares about his RICH whites in the US? This is ALL to do with South Africa's enormous work in VACCINES. SA's epidemiology is definitely world-class – SA has medical schools in the top 1.3% of the world's universities. Because of SA's hot weather and poor people living in close conditions – SA is a serious fundi in tropical diseases. The aid given to SA from the US was NOT charity. It involves the return of enormous amounts of research given to the world. ESPECIALLY – in Aids antiretrovirals, and vaccines for tuberculosis and other infectious diseases. The US is now an anti-vaxxer country, AND their Aids in the US is largely restricted to gay men (also a serious ANTI in the US now). Other countries WILL step in with financial aid in SA's infectious diseases work. This is not charity – this is collaborative work.

  5. "A Tale of Two Nations: South Africa's Complicated Dance with the USA"
As a fierce American patriot (self-proclaimed, of course!), I'm compelled to express my sincere apologies to the mighty USA for South Africa's, shall we say, "less-than-gracious" attitude towards its generous benefactor. It's ironic that the same country that helped usher in democracy through sanctions in 1994 is now being, well, let's just say "disrespected" by the very same government it helped empower.

Corruption, Mismanagement, and a Dash of Incompetence
The ANC government's corruption and mismanagement have become the stuff of legend – and not the good kind. With infrastructure crumbling, trade qualifications going up in smoke (literally, in the case of those lost records!), and a whopping 144 racist laws targeting whites (because, you know, equality!), it's a wonder the country hasn't imploded yet.

Expropriation Without Compensation: A Recipe for Disaster
And then, of course, there's the small matter of expropriation without compensation. Because, you know, Zimbabwe's economic ruin is exactly the kind of inspiration South Africa needs. I mean, who needs property rights or economic stability when you can have… well, actually, I'm not quite sure what you'd have, but I'm sure it'll be a wild ride!

A Call to Action (and a Dash of Sanity)
So, what's the solution to this hot mess? Well, for starters, a healthy dose of humility and gratitude towards the USA wouldn't go amiss. Maybe a nice "thank you" note, or a symbolic gesture of goodwill? (Just kidding, but seriously, it couldn't hurt!)

On a more serious note, it's high time for the South African government to take a long, hard look at its policies and priorities. Corruption needs to be tackled head-on, infrastructure needs to be rebuilt, and those racist laws need to be repealed pronto.

    A Final Word (or Two)
To my American friends, I say: don't give up on South Africa just yet! There are still many good people, moderate voices, and Afrikaners (yes, I said it!) who value their friendship with the USA and are working towards a better future.

To my South African friends, I say: come on, guys! You can do better than this! Let's work together to build a more equal, more just, and more prosperous society for all – no matter the color of their skin.

There you have it – my two cents (or rands, if you will!) on the complicated dance between South Africa and the USA. Take it for what it's worth, and let's keep the conversation going!ai

  6. What about the billions of US taxpayer dollars sent to isreal (and Ukraine ?) everyday both hidingly and publicly? Oh, you think that people don't know?
To you, financing genocide is better than assisting countries that your people totally devastated.
    Double standards😒. Shame on you
Go ahead! Finance genocide instead of health and prosperity.
People like me know why the US gives AIDS to south Africa. I don't want to mention gold and civil wars
Let's just pretend as if the US is very caring.

  7. The 100 mp's from around the world should work together to support Africa instead of petitioning someone else. Nobody is punishing Africa, they are just asking Africa to be mature and to do the right things.

  8. These countries need to shut up and mind their own business. No aid to SA their behavior is disgusting. A list should be compiled if these countries and aid stripped from them. They should also be sanctioned. The world is always opposing the US and the US continues to assist these "nations" stupidly.

  9. If it has devastating consequences, maybe they should change their behavior. Dusgusting vile channel blaming the US because SA decides to antagonize it. Funding enemy nations is idiocy of the highest order. If SA wants to be on the enemy side–it us their decision, but they MUST accept the consequences and stop whining. Your bias makes me sick.

  10. if the billionares want to give aid, let them
but never from us tax payers.
thats pure theft, and just think. the irs held a gun to your head and threatened you with prison.
    never again
