The US doesn't have to acknowledge President Captain Traore; as long as they don't lay hands on him, nobody cares what the US thinks or wants. Same for France but if they touch him in any way, they'll have a lot of people ready to tear into them, starting with the youth. The US and France need to mind their own businesses and deal with their own countries. Burkina Faso's resources are not for France and the people don't want your democracy or your opinions.

I’m honestly surprised that more African countries, especially the bigger ones, are not standing up to support Ibrahim Traoré.
This is a man who is risking his life not just for Burkina Faso, but for all of us across the continent.
If you are African — or simply a human being with a good heart — you should understand and respect what Traoré is fighting for.
Africa is incredibly rich in natural resources: fertile land for agriculture, vast deposits of gold, diamonds, platinum, and a rich diversity of wildlife.
Yet for decades, we have seen our wealth taken from us — especially by countries like France — while our people remain poor.
Enough is enough. It’s time we support leaders who genuinely want Africa to develop and succeed.
