President of the People’s Republic of China, Xi Jinping, said his country will work with Latin America and the Caribbean to launch five programmes to further increase cooperation within the region.
He made the announcement at the Opening Ceremony of the 4th Ministerial Meeting of China-CELAC on Tuesday.
