I think MAYBE Botswana does better than us, but no other country beats on infrastructure in Africa. Lots of first world investors enter our market through our country… ironically cos we have the least corruption (generally in the discipline of auditing), unfortunately we do have political corruption, but not as bad as the average on the continent, definitely not the best though.
I can clear this all up with two points though;
– we're the most mineral dense land on the continent and export crap tonnes of precious metals and stones and oil was discovered and is being investigated off of our coast since last year
– the highest African GDP was the population of Libya before the US invaded it and murdered Ghadafi, also overthrowing the Libyan government and banking system while they were the only African country who could pay off their debt at the IMF
