DAVIE, Fla. – An accident caused a major traffic issue on Sunday morning in Broward County.

According to authorities, it was due to a large fire from some kind of tanker truck.

Video obtained by Local 10 News shows a bus was also involved in the crash.

Davie police said drivers should avoid both I-595 and State Road 84 westbound between Pine Island Road and Southwest 136th Avenue.

Rescue officials said one person was rushed to Broward Health Medical Center as a trauma alert.

Billowing black smoke could be seen by drivers in the area before the fire was extinguished.
