So, it is exciting. I know a lot of people are a lot more excited than I am about the actual ceremony. I’m excited to get to work and be able to do great things for the people of this community,” Ewing said.Ewing says Monday was a little hard saying bye to some people he’s worked closely with over the past 18 years.”I am looking forward to being able to be mayor and tell the people about the great progress we are going to make to economic development and addressing the issues that we talked about, affordable housing. I’m really looking forward to that because, we’ve been building partnerships, having meetings and I believe we’re going to build some good coalitions which I believe is the best way to get things done because then you’re partnering with people who do the work and you’re partnering with the people who are the beneficiaries of the work as well,” Ewing said.
