The Calgary Police Service (CPS) is advising the public of a bear sighting in a southwest community.
A black bear was spotted in the Oakridge area by 90 Ave SW in green space near the Glenmore Reservoir on Sunday (Oct. 5).
According to police, the bear is not aggressive, and Fish and Wildlife have been contacted.
Residents are asked to use caution while in the area, and to not approach the animal.
