The Black Culture Foundation is accepting nominations for its 2026 Black Rose Awards, which honor people dedicating their lives to community service and improvement in the Inland Empire.
Nominations are due by Nov. 10.
The 34th annual Black Rose Awards ceremony will be held 5:30 p.m. Feb. 7 in the Santos Manuel Student Union at Cal State San Bernardino.
“We are looking for Black leaders or community members who work tirelessly to uplift others in the Inland Empire,” Carl M. Dameron, president of the Black Culture Foundation, said in a news release. “We encourage nominations for the Black Rose, Humanitarian of the Year and Community Service awards.”
“These individuals are the unsung heroes — they are committed, compassionate and make our community a better place,” Jim King, founder of the Black Rose Awards, said in the news release.
Nomination forms are available online at SBBCFoundation.org. The awards celebrate achievements across the Black community, but the awards are not limited to Black people.
The Black Culture Foundation, established in 1968, aims to promote Black culture, raise awareness of Black achievements and foster unity through annual cultural events and parades.
