Community alert issued for sexually violent predator moving to Colorado Springs address

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – The Colorado Springs Police Department notified the community on Tuesday that a sexually violent predator has moved to a Colorado Springs address.

According to CSPD, Kailan Rodriguez Marion, 25, is registered as a transient staying around the area of 5 W Las Vegas St, by the “Springs Rescue Mission” in Colorado Springs.

He is described as a Black male, 5 feet 10 inches tall, 250 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

Marion was convicted of two counts of attempted sexual assault on a child in El Paso County in 2024. He also has convictions in El Paso County in 2024 for first-degree criminal trespass, forgery and theft.

He will be on supervised release and probation.
