Her career of community work spans more than two decades and reflects her commitment to building pathways for young people, particularly students of color. Through her work with UNCF, Linda leads initiatives across Washington, Oregon, and Alaska that empower students to pursue higher education through scholarships, institutional support, and leadership development. Under Thompson-Black’s leadership, the UNCF Pacific Northwest area has reached new heights, strengthening relationships with area leadership councils, resulting in expanded resources and opportunities for hundreds of students.
