In the Sahel region, Burkina Faso has released 11 Nigerian Air Force personnel after their aircraft made an emergency landing. The crew was detained following conflicting reports about the landing; Nigeria claimed adherence to safety protocols, while Burkina Faso cited a lack of proper clearance. Diplomatic talks facilitated by Nigeria’s Foreign Minister Yusuf Tuggar resulted in their release and an acknowledgement of irregularities. Regional tensions are rising, particularly between ECOWAS and the Sahel Alliance, exacerbated by security concerns. Both nations pledged enhanced bilateral cooperation to prevent future incidents. No charges have been filed, and the matter is considered resolved.

  1. every Nigerian knows this was very likely NOT an emergency landing. considering they’d just bombed Benin following instructions from the evil Macron 1:31
3:45 Nigeria is the unstable nation. not Burkina Faso
military rule is not always synonymous to bad. democracy has been a sour experience in most African countries

whatever works for the people is good for the people. democracy or not

  2. Here in Nigeria and especially in Igbo land. The Nigeria military are stronger when it has to do with armless Igbo civilians. But now, can you imagine that Nigeria government and military could ever bend down and knelt down before Burkina Faso to beg for forgiveness? I thought Nigeria has the greatest army in Africa?

Nigeria military and government is a shame and a disappointment. How could they beg instead of engaging the Burkina Faso military is a bloody fiasco.

It is important to stress that Nigeria has to military! Let dismiss all military personnel
