A Black History Month celebration was hosted by the Santa Maria-Lompoc branch of the NAACP at Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria Saturday. The event featured a keynote address from Judge Denise Hippach, of Santa Barbara County Superior Court, along with student speakers, praise dancing, and a community resource fair with local nonprofit organizations.
