Seattle, WA –The National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Inc., Greater Seattle Chapter (NCBW) will host a community Civics Discussion Forum designed to encourage meaningful community dialogue about civic participation, public policy that impacts residents, and community engagement. The forum will bring together community members, leaders, and advocates to discuss how civic knowledge and participation shape policies that impact local communities. Participants will learn more about the civic process and explore ways to become more informed. “Our goal is to create a space where community members can learn, ask questions, and engage in thoughtful dialogue about civic responsibility and leadership,” said Beth Salaguinto, President of the Greater Seattle Chapter of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women. “Civic engagement is a critical component of strengthening our communities and ensuring that voices are heard.” The forum will include guided discussion, opportunities for participants to share perspectives, and resources to support continued civic learning and engagement.
