South African opposition leader Julius Malema found guilty on 2018 firearm case

South Africa’s opposition leader Julius Malema was convicted on five firearm-related charges stemming from a 2018 rally where he fired an assault rifle into the air. The verdict came just weeks after a separate hate speech conviction. Despite legal setbacks, Malema’s EFF party remains steadfast in its support.

  1. Discharging fiream in public is not serious offense. This is just a minor offense that should attract just a caution and discharge. It can't be compared to Pistorious who killed a woman

  2. cholly used the exact same tactic to railroad the NFAC leader in amerikkka! he’s still in jail and you hear next to nothing about the organization now! MALEMA IS ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!! But cholly is going to publicly take him out! with the help of people that look just like us, BUT ARE NOT!
