The 16th Annual Mississippi Black Leadership Summit was held Tuesday at the Jackson Convention Complex.The yearly event aims to collaborate and create a strategy for improvement in community development, civic engagement, and economic justice. “Opportunities like this, our leadership summit, give people a chance to hear about policies that impact their everyday lives and a chance to understand how they can have a seat at those tables to impact public policy,” said Nsombi Lambright-Haynes, executive director of One Voice.
