Brighton, N.Y. — The Town of Brighton hosted an esteemed group of speakers, including entrepreneurs, professors, and local dance performer Garth Fagan, as part of a celebration for Black History Month.
All of them shared their stories, inspirations, and the ongoing quest for change and progress.

“Stereotypes that we are still attempting to overcome, ways forward for the community, and just more ways for us to continue to support one another for another 100 years,” said Dr. Katrina Overby, a professor at the RIT School of Communication.
