Hi Colleen, Its just that I for years worked for EXXON as a marine operations specialist up in the Eastern Caribbean, first on the tiny Island of St Croix, from the AVI, and then up in the Island of Aruba, which belongs to the Netherland Antilles back in the days, and part of my job was doing weather forecast. I learnt that water temperatures in that area even in November reach up to the high 80`F and even 90`F, and that is a condition very conducive to develop tropical systems even that late in the year. I dont think this hurricane season is over yet, I will wait and see what`s next with this broad current area of low pressure up in the Soutern Caribbean at this time, my best regards to all of the weather team at your TV station.
