SHREVEPORT, La. – February is Black History Month and KTBS 3/KPXJ CW 21 continue to salute the contributions of African Americans in labor with the help of Bossier Parish high school students.
O.W. Gurley helped build Tulsa’s Greenwood District, known as Black Wall Street. It became one of the most successful black communities before its destruction in 1921.
