The Southwestern Michigan Urban League (SWMUL) recently recognized six community leaders as part of its Black History Month Salute for their impact in Battle Creek and Calhoun County.
The organization’s annual February Salute honors outstanding African American leaders in Battle Creek and Calhoun County. It highlights individuals who have made significant contributions in education, business, ministry, public service, and community advocacy.
